HTC One X9 packs decent specifications and boasts a metal unibody design that resembles the look and feel of the recently launched HTC One A9.
The handset features a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display on the front accompanied by the dual front-facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio. We have recently reviewed the dual-SIM HTC Desire 828 that packs in the same display and speaker units making it one of the best multimedia device in sub- Rs 20,000 price bracket.
HTC has integrated the smartphone with the MediaTek’s top-end Helio X10 (MT6795T) octa-core SoC along with 3GB of RAM. The smartphone has a 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded to up to a good 2TB via microSD card.
Coming to the camera, you will find a 13MP rear snapper with OIS (optical image stabilisation), support for 4K video recording and dual-tone LED flash. The front is equipped with the HTC’s signature ultrapixel selfie camera of aperture f/2.0 with support for 1080p video recording. There is no word about the Android version the smartphone will come with but we expect HTC to ship the handset with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The dual-SIM 4G enabled smartphone has a thickness of 7.99mm and is backed by a non-removable 3,000mAh . It will be available in Silver and Gunmetal Gray color options. We will keep you posted for its availability in the Indian market.
